Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the family of Rev. Stancil Clements. Mr. Clements passed on December 21, 2017 in Centerville, AL. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, December 27,2017 at Enterprise Baptist Church in Cottondale, Al. with Bro. Daniel Snider and Bro. Jeff Lollar presiding. Mr. Clements will lie in state one hour prior to service. Mr. Clements was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, and two sisters. He was survived by his loving wife, Ina of 72 years, daughters: Brenda (Doug) Boyd and Jamsie Clements; sons: Oneal (Kay), Gary (Tammy) and Wayne (Sandra) Clements, Grandchildren: Four grandsons, four granddaughters, eight great-grandsons, two great, great-grandsons, and one great,great-granddaughter. Mr. Clements worked at Gulf States Paper nearly 15 years. Mr. Clements went into full time ministry and pastored multiple churches all over Alabama for 57 years. His first pastoral position was Enterprise Baptist Church which was also the last church he attended and where he will be laid to rest. Mr. Clements loved gardening, carpentry, and fishing. Mr. Clements was the patriarch of five generations, for almost six years. There are four generations sharing his middle name, Oneal. Mr. Clements outlived his nine siblings, with him being next to the youngest. Mr. Clements loved God and was a good and faithful servant, son,brother, husband, father, father-in-law, and paw-paw. Dignified and professional care has been entrusted to Northport Funeral & Cremation Service Professional Team.
