Northport Funeral & Cremation Service announces with deepest sympathy the passing of Ms. Rose Marie Browning of Elrod, AL on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Hospice of West Alabama. Memorial Services will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Corinth Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Clemons Browning; father, CeciI Dunn; and her beloved aunt, Etta Strickland. Survivors include her sons, James Booth (Amanda) and Steven Walker; stepchildren, Jamey Browning (Amber), Zach Browning (Kendra) and Jessica Burroughs (Joseph); mother, Belle McGee; brothers, John Dunn, Leon Dunn, and Ricky Dunn; sisters, Brenda Clarke, Linda Kempton, Bobbie Jean Vaughn, Christine Faunce, and Rhonda Fisher; grandchildren, Hunter Booth, Hannah Booth, and Lori Beth Booth; special and dear friends, Mary Lou Knight and Candi Griffin and a host of nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers are the friends and family of the Elrod Community and caring staff of Hospice of West Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Corinth Baptist Church. Dignified and professional service entrusted to Northport Funeral & Cremation Service.
