Funeral services for Ms. Lanier will be Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Salem Baptist Church in West Greene (Eutaw), Alabama. Burial will follow immediately at Zion Memorial Gardens in Birmingham, Alabama. There will be no public visitation. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service.
