Patsy was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Reece, and her father, Pelham Reece.
She is survived by daughters Michelle Koster (Bud), Monica Mims, sister Lindy Wade (Joe), grandchildren Mallory Cantrell (Zach), Lauren Harvey (Austin), Allen Mims (Bethany), Bradley Mims (Jessica), and her great
grandchildren Will, Noah, Maddie, Paislee, Charlee Jo, Blair, Aubrey, and several nieces and nephews.
Patsy worked at the University of Alabama for many years, working in television and ultimately retiring from the Philosophy department.
Honorary mentions: Jewel Kemp – she and Patsy were in many clubs together, travelled and attended many Alabama baseball games together. Jewel was a true friend to Patsy. Tim Mims – who she still thought of and loved like a son. Linda Watson – a childhood friend that was 80 years strong. Linda & Patsy had a standing 7 pm phone call every Wednesday night.
