William Edward Ray, Jr. (Butch), age 71, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on July 23, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Ray; Sons, John (Molly) Ray and Andy Ray, and daughter, Emily (Jonathan) Wynn; Grandchildren, Meg, Julia, and Josie Wynn, Jack, and Maddie Ray, and Lyla Ray. Mr. Ray is also survived by his siblings: Steve(Melisa) Ray, Bob Ray, and Beverly (John) Grundhoefer. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Edward Ray, Sr. and Sue (Solomon) Ray. Butch loved Alabama football and being outdoors hunting. He was especially passionate about turkey hunting.
