He was preceded in death by his parents Una Epperson Surber and Morris Epperson; sisters Ann Epperson Rinehart and Amy Epperson Stone. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth Young Epperson; daughters Karen Reppy (John) of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Misty Fondren (Thomas) of Havana, AL, and Summer Chapman (Chip) of Sawyerville, AL. Grandchildren Robbie Epperson, Samantha Epperson, Hollie Fondren, Johnny Chapman. Brother, William Epperson of Heighburger, AL. Sister, Linda McDaniel of Auburn, AL. Robert D. Epperson was born and raised in Hale Co., resided in North Perry, Perry Co.. He was a member of Ridgeville Nazarene Church, Brent, AL. Bobby loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing, farming and his family and his hunting and fishing buddies. He was known to be a jokester, always smiling, laughing, and carrying-on some kind of non-sense. A special recognition to Dr. J. Brian Wilhite, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center doctors and staff, and SouthernCare Hospice nurses for supporting him in battle.
