Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our warmest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family of Mr. Norman E. Campbell. Mr. Campbell passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Lake Lureen State Park from 3-5pm. There will be a $5.00 gate fee per adult in order to attend, lieu of flowers.
It is with great sadness that the world's greatest University of Alabama fan passed away. Norman loved the Crimson Tide, music and he was a devout believer in God. He never met a stranger. Norman loved being outdoors; which is why his celebration of life will be held outdoors at Lake Lureen State Park.
Mr. Campbell is preceded in death by his mother, Julta Faye Stewart Campbell.
He is Survived by his life partner: Kay Trimm; his wife Lynda Gooch Campbell; four daughters, Alyssa (Daniel) George, Kaylea Campbell, Harley (Julie, Caleb) Wise, and Syenna Birchfield; one son, Joaby (Kayla) Campbell; father, Jimmy R. Campbell; two step-daughters, Kayla Darwin and Anna (Daniel) Norris; one step-son, Thomas Trimm, and nine grandchildren; Azlynd & Treyton George, Zadie Bigham, Eretria & Torrin Earnest, Spencer Brichfield, Avery Campbell, Ridlee and Wyatt Darwin.
