Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our warmest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family of Mr. Harold W. Cannon. Mr. Cannon passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Harold Wayne Cannon was born on October 7, 1947, in Tallassee, Alabama. He passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 77. He later moved to Dallas, Texas and married his wife and the love of his life, Linda.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda; parents, Harold Cannon, Ann Heath, and stepdad Thomas Heath; his grandparents; and his great grandson, Dupree.

Survivors include his son, Jimmy Cannon; his grandchildren, Samantha Leger (Robbie), Joshua Cannon (Rhiana), Tiffany Cannon, and Justin Cannon; 9 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by his siblings, Kenny Cannon (Leronda), Sue Owens (J.T.), Lee Giles (Randy), Nannett Hollingsworth, and Renee Poole.

Wayne was loved by many and was a loving husband, father, Pop, brother, uncle and friend to many. 

We would like to thank the staff at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home for all the care and support they gave Wayne and his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held for family members only.
