He was preceded in death by his parents Greeley Monroe and Mary Lula Perry; brothers Pearson Perry, Felix Perry, and Olen Perry; sisters Ottie Walker, Florence Wilkerson, Lovell Chappell, Ludean Wade. He is survived by his wife Jimmie Perry; son James Christopher Perry; brother F. G. Perry (Nettie); sisters Clancie Millwood; Anita Shelton (Don); Gail Jackson (Edward); and many nieces and nephews and their families. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 9, at 2 p.m. at The Key Place, 14581Renfroe Drive, Northport, AL. Gary volunteered with non-profit organizations after he retired from B. F. Goodrich Tire Company. He was a great fan of Alabama football, car shows, and any kind of car racing. He leaves behind many loyal friends who knew to call if he could help them.
