Ms. Elsie Helen Wilson

Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our warmest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family of Ms. Elsie Helen Wilson. Ms. Elsie Wilson passed away on Saturday October 5, 2024 in Tuscaloosa, AL. 

Ms. Elsie Wilson is preceded in death by her husband, William J. Wilson; son, William Donald Wilson, Woodrow Boothe, and several brothers and sisters.

Ms. Elsie is survived by her daughter, Brenda Kay Hathcock McBride (James "Mac") and son, Gary Wayne Wilson (Frances); sister, Louise Marcom; grandchild, Taylor Wayne Wilson (Haley).

Elsie was 92 and passed away on October 5, 2024.

Elsie was a sweet, loving, precious lady who loved all her children and Taylor her grandchild. She loved flowers and roses. She loved music and concerts. She was a really good cook. She was a caregiver for her husband for 15 years and William will be passed 30 years at the end of this month. We can imagine the great Homecoming she had with Jesus getting to see William and Donald, her son, again and also her parents and brothers and sisters. Her family has comfort knowing they will see her again one day. She lived with Kay a long time and this is very hard for her. That was her best friend. She loved Sadie and Gabby, Sparky and Dixie the fur babies along with Miss Kitty. She is going to be greatly missed.

The Honorary Pallbearers are Heritage Health Care nurses and staff, Teresa Kirk, Connie and Brook and staff and hospice Ollie, Sandra, Angela, Mary, Carie, Michelle, and all who cared for her. Kyle Fessler and Anna Claire along with the Church of the Highlands. The family would like to give a special thanks to Kay's family and friends who stood by Ms. Elsie.
