Chad Collins grew up in Northwood Lake and was a graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School in 1985. It’s clear that his roots in the area were an important part of his life, and that connection likely influenced who he became, both personally and professionally. Chad practiced as a Registered Nurse at Life Managment and later transferred to North Harbor Pavilion. He obtained his certification in psych nursing and went on to help many people in the community to improve their mental health. During this time, he became a father to two children, Landon and Emily Collins whom he devoted his life to. Later Chad was hired at Bryce Hospital where he continued to work. Chad led a meaningful and impactful life, especially in his nursing career, and as a father to Landon and Emily. His dedication to his family and community is evident, and it’s clear he had a deep love for his children and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life like beach trips and Auburn sports. His legacy, both professionally and personally, will likely continue to inspire those who knew him.
